The Neuroscience Coaching course offers a total of 6 modules, 3 coaching demos, 3 immediately applicable tools, and permanent access to both an exclusive community of like-minded peers.
In this module, you will experience a big-picture overview of the neuroscience of coaching mindset and the fundamentals of the coaching skill set.
Key Learning Outcomes:
Uncover the brain's natural drive for creativity, resourcefulness, and wholeness. Discover why tapping into this ignites openness and engagement in your clients.
Grasp the importance of asking powerful questions. Find out why this technique triggers self-directed neuroplasticity in your clients.
Most coaching clients enter the relationship wanting change and growth, to be listened to and heard, and to “extend” their minds (whether they are conscious of this or not). In this session, we’ll explore the neuroscience of relationships and change.
Key Learning Outcomes:
Adopt new methods to act as a trusted guide for your client's thoughts without overstepping boundaries. By doing this, you’ll help your clients overcome their biggest obstacles.
Discover how using more of the body during coaching sessions can shine a light on blindspots, and spark creative new ways of thinking for your clients.
Realize the power of humor, fun activities, and even making mistakes in your coaching. This approach can unlock new thought patterns for your clients.
In this module, you’ll discover the critical importance of having your client connect with their own personal relevance as part of the coaching process, and how exploring values and purpose are some of the best ways to do so. You’ll also see how this impacts the brain for both motivation and stress reduction. Plus how client values are related to their limitations and “saboteurs.”
Key Learning Outcomes:
Understand how exploring values and purpose is part of a critical motivation system in the brain.
Explore a variety of brain-based strategies to help a client discover and/or deepen their relationship with their own values.
Learn how so-called “saboteurs” or limitations and fears are inextricably linked to our deepest values.
In this module, you will explore the many ways to help your clients find new perspectives on challenging or difficult situations, why this is so important to the brain, and what aspects of neuroscience are activated when you do this.
Key Learning Outcomes:
Learn to shift your client's viewpoint using the principles of neuroscience, which will help them see challenges in a new light.
Discover how to test different strategies to help your clients reframe their perspectives for bigger breakthroughs.
In this module, you will explore the science of presence and mindfulness and their application to coaching. You’ll discover proven research on mindfulness and stress reduction, how presence and attention impact neuroplasticity, and how to apply mindfulness in coaching
Key Learning Outcomes:
Learn the science of how your personal demeanor affects your clients. And the best way to “show up” for your coaching sessions.
Understand the connection between mindfulness and the brain. Plus how to tap into the power of this connection for numerous positive effects on the mind and body.
In this module, participants will learn about the powerful concept of integration, what it is, why it matters to human effectiveness, how we do it in coaching, and how we can use it to improve client development. Additionally, we will explore the “Orchestra of the Brain” model as a replacement for the inaccurate “triune brain” view.
Key Learning Outcomes:
Learn the distinction of Integration as the “linkage of differentiated elements,” and discover how every aspect of human development and growth can be linked to integration in some way.
Explore how classic coaching tools are actually creating integration; and
Understand their brains using the metaphor of an orchestra.
