PrinciplesYou Certification course empowers professionals to administer individual debrief sessions on the PrinciplesYou assessment. The insights provided by this course will give you the ability to debrief the assessment report and through it give your clients a deeper understanding of themselves, their strengths and weaknesses, and how to use self-awareness to engage more effectively in the meaningful projects of their work and lives.

Through a combination of self-study content, readings, knowledge checks and live practice sessions you will learn:

• Structure of the PrinciplesYou Assessment;
• PrinciplesYou personality preferences;
• Debriefing assessment;
• Delivering personality feedback;
• Exploration of interpersonal relationships.

One of the main principles of the PrinciplesYou Certification course is the process of reflection and experimentation. So you’re constantly learning how to advance your skills and integrate your knowledge with clients along the way, rather than sticking with the model and training you’ve gotten and just doing that over and over again.

This comprehensive 7-module course spans over a 9-week period and employs a diverse range of effective learning techniques. The course includes LIVE practicums and Q&A sessions.

The 7-module course spans over a 9-week period and employs a diverse range of effective learning techniques.

It combines:

• 7 recorded self-paced learning modules with video content lessons, readings, case studies, self-exercises guides;
• 2 live hosted 60-min Q&A sessions with Zack Wieder and Denise Clegg, creators of the course to address your questions;
• 5 live 90-180min facilitated Practicum sessions with trained PrinciplesYou Certified Facilitator ensuring a clear and experiential understanding;
• 2 self-guided Debrief Practice sessions to be conducted with someone from your circle;
• Final Assessment – to test your knowledge and understanding at the end of the course;
• Online community – close community for connecting with peers, sharing experiences and asking questions inbetween.

In order become a PrinciplesYou Certified Coach and become eligible for the PrinciplesYou Certified Coaches directory with assessment taker leads you need to complete the following certification requirements:

• Complete all Module activities and knowledge checks
• Attend all live Practicum sessions
• Complete Final Assessment

NOTE: To become certified, you need to attend at least 4 out of 5 Practicum sessions.

The Final Assessment will be multiple-choice and will be made available in the last week of the course. You must score 100% on the assessment to successfully complete the course; however, you can retake the assessment as many times as you need to achieve that score.

Attending the Q&A sessions is encouraged for your own learning enhancement, but these do not not count toward overall graduation requirements.
All Q&A session recordings will be available within 48 hours after the session inside the Community; however, Practicum sessions are not recorded.

Upon successfully completing the requirements, you’ll receive access to a special section of the Members Area called Certification. There, you will find a personalized digital certificate, marketing materials, and – in case you’re an ICF member – a copy of your CCEUs letter, or SHRM member, a copy of your PDCs letter.

To get the greatest value, be prepared to invest between 25-28 hours to fully immerse yourself in the content and apply it to your work over the course of 9 weeks.

Practicum session is a live facilitated session with a group of up to 25 people.

In the session, the group gets broken into smaller learning subgroups to experiment with different approaches in debriefing the assessment results. You will also learn how you can help each other to become better by providing quality feedback.

After certaing exercise ends, you will meet with the Facilitator and rest of the group to give observations before moving on to the next exercise, or in some cases, closing the session.

The live Practicum sessions will be facilitated by PrinciplesYou Certified Facilitators.

The live Q&A sessions will be hosted by Zack Wieder, Principles’ Chief Experience Officer, and Denise Clegg, an experienced executive leader, trainer, and coach. They developed this unique Certification course to teach you how to facilitate debrief sessions for the PrinciplesYou assessments with individuals through a combination of theory-based and experiential sessions.

You will have dedicated 60-min Q&A time with the course creators, Zack Wieder and Denise Clegg, where they will address most common questions from the chat box and from the online community.

Should there be questions that haven’t been covered, you always have the option to post your question to the dedicated thread inside the exclusive community platform.

Zack, Denise and their faculty will get back with their answer within a few days.

We’ve defined a specific set of criteria to identify the most appropriate candidates. Only coaches who pass the Qualification Survey are eligible to participate in this course. To maintain the highest standard of delivery, spaces have been extremely limited.

The course has been designed to teach coaches how to facilitate assessment debrief sessions for PrinciplesYou assessment takers, and optimize your online presence on Coaching.com’s Principles Marketplace – directory of PrinciplesYou Certified Coaches. 

There are currently 2 million PrinciplesYou assessment takers to date and 30,000 new users complete the assessment each month.  Upon completion, all PrinciplesYou assessment takers are directed to the Principles Marketplace, for a paid debrief session.

Regardless of your previous experience, completing a PrinciplesYou Certification will open doors for you to debrief previous and new assessment takers by ensuring your profile is listed on the Coaching.com Principles Marketplace. There are currently 2 million PrinciplesYou assessment takers to date and 30,000 new users a month yet to engage in a paid discovery session with a Certified PrinciplesYou Coach.

We place a premium on attracting experienced coaches in order to keep the course’s standard high. Therefore, this course would be for a person who has had at least 3 years of coaching experience and has had experience in working with others assessments.
