The Pamela Slim Agency works with thought leaders to scale their impact and income through the intelligent design of IP. Pam and her team build certification and licensing programs with client partners, applying over 30 years of instructional development and training experience into profitable and scalable programs.

Pam spent the first 10 years of her business as a consultant to large companies such as Hewlett-Packard, Charles Schwab and Cisco Systems, where she worked with thousands of executives, managers and employees.

In 2005, she started the Escape from Cubicle Nation blog, which became one of the top career and business blogs on the web. Since 2005, Pam has helped thousands of entrepreneurs to start successful businesses. She has partnered with small business leaders like Progressive Insurance, GoDaddy and Keap to deliver strategic content to the small business market.

Pam’s first book Escape from Cubicle Nation: From Corporate Prisoner to Thriving Entrepreneur was released in Spring, 2009 and won Best Small Business/Entrepreneur Book of 2009 by 800 CEO Read (now Porchlight Books). Her second book, Body of Work, gives a fresh perspective on the skills required in the new world of work for people in all work modes, from corporate to non-profit to small business. Her latest book, The Widest Net, delivers a method for building an engaged and mutually beneficial network. It won Best Business Book of 2021 in the category of Sales & Marketing by Porchlight Books.

For 8 years, Pam and her ex-husband Darryl ran a community based learning lab in Downtown Mesa, Arizona where they supported thousands of local BIPOC entrepreneurs. Pam is frequently quoted as an expert in publications such as BusinessWeek, The New York Times, Money Magazine and Psychology Today. Pam lives in Mesa, Arizona.
